Our Global Operations team is the fuel maintaining a uniquely dynamic and high-achieving multicultural, multi-continental team at the cutting edge of how evidence is used to improve global development programs. Our team is currently looking for an Operations Administrator, Global People Operations. This role would be a great fit for someone who thrives working in a fast-paced, high-energy, get-it-done environment, and is excited to grow professionally alongside a high-performing team.
The Operations Administrator on the Global People Operations team will independently own and operate numerous key systems, procedures, and software that facilitate the functioning of our organization and projects of our client-facing teams. The Operations Administrator will be responsible for administering these systems efficiently and accurately on a regular schedule. As needed, and often in collaboration with stakeholders at all levels, the Operations Administrator will be charged with improving current functionality of these systems.
Reporting to the Global People Operations Manager - Analytics, Systems, and Compensation and the Global People Operations Specialist - Employee Experience (both based in Nairobi, Kenya) and working with our Global and Regional Operations teams, the Operations Administrator, Global People Operations will be responsible for the following types of workstreams:
Lead the org-wide systems management and maintenance of all organization-wide systems and facilitate the technology needs of project teams and individual teammates. Specific programs include Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and software packages for statistics and data analysis.
Provide systems documentation, handle incident reports (cyber attack attempts) and implement data security measures.
Work with cross-functional teams to support organizational system and software implementation such as roll outs of Management Information Systems (MIS) and Knowledge Management (KM) systems. The successful candidate will be expected to manage specific processes related to administering team and project databases in Airtable, supporting team RAID requests, training teammates on Airtable functionality, supporting Finance teammates on rolling out new Finance software, and more.
Make IDinsight the best place to work in international development. Specific systems include performance reviews, promotion committees, internal data dashboards, and organizational performance and health checks.
Manage and contribute to crucial work streams in people operations. Specific systems include our human resources information system (HRIS), global onboarding and people movement processes, global payroll, healthcare and benefits, and special projects and initiatives of the Regional Operations team.

This is a full-time employee position; location is flexible for IDinsight office locations in Dakar, Senegal; Rabat, Morocco; Nairobi, Kenya; Lusaka, Zambia; or Delhi, India. Please note IDinsight is not able to sponsor work authorization for this role. Successful candidates will not require IDinsight to sponsor their work authorization in the office in which they'll be based.
The start date of this position is August/September 2022, with preference for candidates that can start immediately. We expect a two-year minimum commitment, with regular professional development conversations and potential for a long-term career at IDinsight.
