Our Legal team is responsible for providing comprehensive and proactive legal support to the IDinsight network to ensure compliance with legal requirements and to reduce exposure to legal risk. The Project Manager, Legal and Compliance will be responsible for managing complex projects and external relationships in a fast-paced environment. This role will lead meetings, need to exhibit effective and clear communication, and manage the full project lifecycle for legal and compliance related projects. The Project Manager, Legal and Compliance will need to build consensus across a variety of stakeholders, assign activities, monitor execution and evaluate results.
This role will report to the General Counsel based in the Washington, D.C area but will support teammates across all of IDinsight’s offices around the world (India, Kenya, Morocco, Philippines, Senegal, United States, and Zambia). The Project Manager, Legal and Compliance will be responsible for the following workstreams:
The right candidate must be intellectually curious, a fast learner, and able to move quickly while keeping focused on what matters most. This role requires excellent customer service skills and a keen appreciation for the sensitivity and confidentiality of the work. We are looking for a hardworking and self-motivated individual and someone who is able to see the big picture and incorporate problem solving, critical thinking and tactical execution into their daily work. We expect an ideal candidate to have the following qualifications.:

This position can be based in any of IDinsight’s offices (India, Kenya, Morocco, Senegal, Philippines, and Zambia). It is also eligible to be based remotely in the United States. Preference will be given to those with pre-existing work authorization in these countries; however, IDInsight will seek work permits where possible for exceptional candidates in all countries except for the United States.
The start date of this position is as soon as possible with an expected start date timeline in August 2022. We expect a two-year minimum commitment, with regular professional development conversations and potential for a long-term career at IDinsight.
IDinsight is able to sponsor employment visas for all nationalities in these locations except the United States; however, we will prioritize candidates who do not require IDinsight to sponsor work authorization in the aforementioned countries. All candidates who are not currently located in our country offices listed above will be expected to relocate to their office locations at the onset of their employment.
