The Payroll Administrator—in collaboration with one other Payroll Administrator on the Global Operations team—will independently own and operate numerous systems and procedures that facilitate the smooth functioning of global payroll and compensation processes. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for administering monthly payroll efficiently and accurately on a regular schedule, for 5+ office and project countries. As needed, and often in collaboration with stakeholders at all levels, the Payroll Administrator will be charged with improving the functionality of these processes.
Reporting to the Manager, Operations Analytics and frequently collaborating with our current Payroll Administrator and other IDinsight teams (Regional Operations, Finance, Administrative), the Payroll Administrator will lead:
Payroll Management: Design, document, and implement payroll systems, many of which are built in-house and custom to IDinsight. We want someone who will oversee global payroll in 5+ countries for 100+ teammates; ensure all salary and tax payments are accurate and timely, and; regularly look to improve, automate, and systematize payroll processes.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit all necessary payroll, tax, and compliance filings. This teammate will also play a key role in compensation-related analyses and projections for senior-level stakeholders in the organization.
Legal Compliance: Ensure that all compensation procedures and tax and statutory contribution payments are compliant with local regulations by staying up-to-date on federal, state, and city employment laws and tax codes, where applicable.

This position can be based in IDinsight’s offices in New Delhi, India; Nairobi, Kenya; Lusaka, Zambia; Dakar, Senegal; or Rabat, Morocco. Preference will be given to those who do not require IDinsight to sponsor work authorization; however, IDinsight will seek work permits where possible for exceptional candidates.
The start date of this position is immediate, with preference for candidates that can start as soon as possible. We expect a 2-year minimum commitment, with regular professional development conversations and potential for a long-term career at IDinsight.
IDinsight is able to sponsor employment visas in some countries; however, we will prioritize candidates who do not require IDinsight to sponsor work authorization. All candidates who are not currently located in our countries listed above will be expected to relocate to their office locations at the onset of their employment.
